Guldensporen Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Kortrijk, Belgium. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of K.V. Kortrijk. In the summer of 2008, following the promotion of KV Kortrijk to the Belgian First Division, the capacity of the stadium was increased from 6,896 to around 9,399.

The name Guldensporenstadion means “Stadium of the Golden Spurs,” a reference to the medieval Battle of the Golden Spurs, fought in Kortrijk in 1302.

There is a general admission entrance located at the Morseelsestraat 111 in Kortrijk, where all ticket holders enter via the same turnstiles. Hospitality ticket holders can collect their tickets in one on the small ticket boots next to the turnstiles. We had some trouble finding the right ticket boot as there is no difference between the ticket boots for regular and Vip tickets and there is no signage what so ever. After proceeding through the turnstiles you will enter an outside area where there is a bar as well as some vendors. From there on you need to walk to the stadium to enter the hospitality areas.

We chose the Outside Business Seats package excluding diner buth with a buffet (one dish) post-match. Part of this package is an unlimited drinks package both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as Cava (excluding liquors). Notably is that the drinks package start 2 hours before the game and ends 3 hours after the game! Post match you are served a buffet (one dish). This package is well suited to grab a light meal and get drinks, but is less suited for entertaining corporate clients as the food offered is limited and no vegetarian options are provided.

The business lounge where Business Outside Seats holders are entitled to, is Club 19 which encomprises the whole main stand below the directors seats and VIP seats. A cosy and relaxed atmoshpere is what you will find here, with large bar facilities and adeaquate seating spaces. The lounge has pitch views making it possible to watch the game from inside the lounge.

Business outside seats are located at the main stand in front of the half-way line. Although they are called business seats, we are not sure if this title is suitable. The seats are quite regular and are not padded, although the leg room is very good. The seats offer unobstructed pitch views.

Next to the outside business seats package, KV Kortrijk  also offers the higher priced inside business seats package, that comes with a full sized restaurant as well as plush red velvet seats, where the match is watched from behind glass windows. As this package comes with more variety in food as well as better dining and seating facilities, this could be more suitable to entertain corporate clients. There are several options where you can reserve a private table inside a booth or join a table with other guests.
