Bayer 04 Leverkusen Review Hospitality & Sport ticket

The deal

The team of Sportz Guru visited Bayer 04 Leverkusen and enjoyed one of the many hospitality packages available for the football matches of this team. We have combined the Premium-Lounge VIP West package with a private tour of the BayArena stadium. Our expectations were high, perhaps too high so disappointment was inevitable. But the contrary is the case. Our expectations were met and more. Read all about the soccer match, stadium, food & beverages. Bayer 04 Leverkusen Review Sport Hospitality Ticket.

Stadium

The impressive BayArena, initially called Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion, was built in the mid 1950s. By 1997, the stadium increased offering a capacity of 22,500 seats, all covered. One year later the stadium’s name got changed to BayArena, named after the nearby Bayer corporation. It didn’t stop here as the fan base grew and therefore an expansion project commenced. Building works began in 2007, and included the addition of a small extra tier, the conversion of part of the seats into standing places (North side, where the fanatic fan base is located), and the construction of a new roof. The current stadium has a capacity of approximately 30,000 all covered seats/standing places and comes with the in-house Lindner Hotel.

Hospitality Entrance

At the BayArena there are numerous hospitality packages and lounges available that are located either on the North, South, West or Ost side of the Stadium. We were fortunate enough to have Premium-Lounge VIP West tickets, on the West side of the stadium where also the dressing rooms and the main hospitality lounge (Premium Lounge) was located. Smooth and well catered entrance is done via the luxurious main reception from where you are brought via escalators to the Premium Lounge. The allocated hospitality tickets where send to us by post, very comfortable so to say.

Restaurant

Included in the package is unlimited wines (red and white), beers (bottles and drafts), soft drinks and coffee/tea. Next to this, champagne (rose and brut) is also included, giving it that extra touch! The quality of wines and champagnes provided is excellent, many restaurants would be jealous of it!

At your table, the food is presented via a neatly presented menu list. Very detailed and giving you that sense or urgency to go to the buffet. The menu is served buffet style with a lot of food stations where the food is presented very well and with a service staff that knows how to provide service.

What is particularly nice is that during half-time and full-time the buffet remains open so there is ample opportunity to dine as you would like to!

Business lounge

Upon arriving at this lounge, the hostesses are already waiting for you accompanying you to your allocated private table. At your table your name tags / reservation name are placed at the table, a nice extra touch.

The luxurious lounge is very big, yet offering intimacy by providing various sections which are all designed differently, both in design as well as with the furniture placed there. As the very large bar facility is strategically placed in the lounge, your views to the other sections are obstructed giving you that extra intimacy.

The best views in the house are offered by this lounge giving you a superb overview of the pitch by its position on the halfway-line. A nice thing to mention here is that the other side of the lounge faces the trainings facility with accompanying pitches. On match days you can see the Bayer 04 Leverkusen women’s side playing their matches in the women’s Bundesliga.

It is only in the Premium-Lounge where meet and greets are offered with players so do take that in mind.

There are ample bathrooms in the lounge, which are all very clean and beautifully decorated.

The lounge opens 2 hours before the game and it closes 3 hours after the game, so very good value for money! And of course during half-time you can also visit the lounge!

Seating

The executive padded seating (very nice comfortable seats) is located in the main stand (West side of stadium) at the half-way line. When you step outside the Premium-Lounge your seats are there, perfect. It provides excellent unobstructed views to the pitch. Bayer 04 Leverkusen Review Sport Hospitality Ticket.
